Mount Holyoke College, one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, seeks an accomplished and creative leader and manager to serve as Director of Campus Technology and Media Support (“CTMS”), a department within the College’s merged Library and Information Technology Services Division (“LITS”).
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and Executive Director of LITS, the Director of CTMS leads, manages, and supports a professional staff of 13 and student employees in their work with College-owned technologies in classrooms, labs, and offices, and for events and conferences. The CTMS team provides software support; media services and access; diagnostic services for student personal computers; design services for classroom and lab technologies; instrumentation support for the sciences; technology training; and inventory and tracking systems for equipment, software, and documentation. The Director will work with other members of the LITS leadership team to ensure that the division continues to provide integrated information and technology services and resources that enable students, faculty, and staff to creatively and productively advance the College’s academic, administrative, and co-curricular goals.
The Director of CTMS works collaboratively within LITS, the College community, the Five Colleges, and with others, taking a leadership role in assessing complex systems, situations, practices, and options; planning strategically, proactively, and thoughtfully; developing and achieving goals; and translating long-term strategies into day-to-day operations; keeping abreast of new trends, tools, opportunities, and campus needs.

The new Director will be an excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment, and will have demonstrated, current, innovative and successful experiences with a broad range of audio visual and computer technologies, software, and technology support.
