Director of Client Services
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position is responsible for all aspects of Client Services and the planning and implementation of IT systems and services. B.S. degree (M.S. preferred) in an information technology related discipline. Significant hands-on experience in providing technical support and a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible client service and project management experience. Other combinations of education and experience will also be considered. Must have extensive knowledge of and the ability to manage significant long-term projects, including the ability to schedule and lead various implementation meetings, keep and meet deadlines and stay within the proposed budget for a project. The Director must have an in-depth knowledge of client service operations, ideally in a higher education environment. Ability to form and work with cross-departmental teams to quickly address and solve technology issues and problems. Ability and willingness to learn and teach various technologies to staff and others is essential, as is the ability to keep abreast of new applications, developments, and innovations in the use of technology as it applies to the higher education user community.
