Information Systems Analyst

The Information System Analyst along with other Administrative ITS project team members is involved in the design, development, and implementation of various administrative systems or web applications utilizing the Colby databases. The Analyst will assist with the installation of the new releases of software, diagnose and correct application performance issues, ensure that the proper security structures are in place, participate in planning activities related to administrative system projects (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, Jenzabar Cx, Web, 3rd Party tools), keep current with best practices, and other duties as assigned. The position reports to the Director of Administrative Information Technology Services.

Qualifications:

• A College degree is required.
• Experience with the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge fundraising system is required.
• Experience in various web and database programming languages and tools (such as Cold Fusion, SQL, Perl, Javascript,?JAVA?and HTML) is required.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, Informix) is required.
• Excellent relationship management skills and written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently is required.
• Ability to form and maintain positive working relationships with a broad range of individuals and commitment to treating all members of the diverse community with respect.
• Experience with Crystal Report writing and MicroSoft SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus.
• Experience with the Jenzabar Cx system is a plus.
