PeopleSoft ERP Programmer/Analyst.
Gettysburg College invites applications for the position of PeopleSoft ERP Programmer/Analyst. Reporting to the Associate Director of Data Systems, this position will technically maintain the current PeopleSoft ERP modules with a primary focus on the PeopleSoft Financials. The position will work very closely with Finance and Administration and Financial Services support staff in the functional areas.
The successful candidate will have significant experience with the PeopleSoft Financial modules, PeopleTools, database architecture and web application programming. Experience with the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and HCM baselines is desired. A college or advanced degree in CS or a related discipline is preferred.
Summary Job Responsibilities:
• Performs in a project leadership role during both PeopleSoft application and PeopleTools upgrades to define project tasks and coordinate the completion of tasks by technical and functional folks on campus.
• Responsible for the new development, maintenance, customization and troubleshooting of the current PeopleSoft ERP modules including integration with third party vendor software.
• Hands on application of updates to the delivered PeopleSoft baselines using Change Assistant including feature packs, maintenance packs, bundles, payroll tax updates, and individual fixes.
Technical Skill Requirements:
• Complete and thorough understanding of PeopleTools release 8.48 or above including Integration Broker, Web Services, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Application Designer, Application Engine, Tree Manager, XML Publisher, and Data Mover.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Query, PS/nVision, Crystal Reporting, XML Publisher, and Structured Query Report Writer (SQR). Knowledge of IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence, HTML and CSS is a plus.
• Have a working knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server database technology with the ability to write and debug complex SQL statements and stored procedures.
