Student Systems Programmer Analyst

Skidmore College is embarking on a 24 month project to implement the student and financial aid modules of the SunGard Higher Education Unified Digital Campus and to integrate them in an environment with existing Oracle E-Business Financials and HR applications. We are looking for an individual to play a key technical role during the implementation, and to continue in a technical support role of the applications once the project completes. The position requires a high level of systems analyst skills, technical competency and familiarity with the processes in higher education. Responsibilities of the position include analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of systems, applications and reporting solutions.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus two to three years experience in a technical support role with a recent version of SunGard Banner UDC student applications; significant high level programming experience using Oracle database tools that include SQL and PL/SQL.
