Systems Manager

The Systems department of The Technical Infrastructure Group at Wellesley College invites applications for a full-time position on the team which maintains the campus central servers. Wellesley College has a heterogeneous network primarily based on Windows and Linux platforms.

The current opening requires comprehensive system administration experience with Linux and Windows servers, NetApp storage units, blade server technology and VMware. Networking and Oracle experience would be a plus.

Applicants must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team and a culturally diverse environment. We anticipate that qualified applicants will have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) plus at least five years hands-on system management experience in a production environment.
